H&H Home Health Care Agency is committed to protecting the safety, dignity, privacy, and well-being of every client we serve. We maintain a strict zero-tolerance policy for abuse, neglect, exploitation, harassment, sexual misconduct, or mistreatment of any kind.
All employees, caregivers, contractors, and representatives of H&H Home Health Care Agency are required to follow our written abuse prevention procedures, professional conduct standards, and mandatory reporting requirements.
Our abuse prevention standards include:
Employee screening and background checks
Professional boundaries with all clients
Mandatory abuse and neglect reporting procedures
Immediate reporting of suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, or unsafe conditions
Employee training and signed policy acknowledgments
Incident documentation and internal review procedures
Cooperation with law enforcement, Adult Protective Services, Child Protective Services, regulatory agencies, and insurance/risk management partners when required
Employees are required to report suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, maltreatment, or sexual misconduct immediately. Michigan reporting guidance states that reports may be required when there is reasonable cause to suspect that an adult has been abused, neglected, exploited, or maltreated, and that verbal reports should be made immediately in applicable situations.

H&H Home Health Care Agency prohibits retaliation against any employee, client, family member, or concerned party who reports suspected abuse, neglect, exploitation, harassment, or unsafe conduct in good faith.
All employees must review, sign, and comply with H&H Home Health Care Agency’s Abuse, Neglect, Harassment & Molestation Prevention Policy as part of the onboarding process and annual compliance review.
